Shamanic Services 

Now offering shamanic services. I am a shamanic practitioner. Shamanism refers to a range of traditional beliefs and practices concerned with communication with the spirit world. There are many forms of shamanism in the world. I do not call myself a "Shaman" because I believe to do so would be an insult to Shamans that have been taught traditionally by time honoured Shamans. I feel the term is thrown around too loosely. However, I do believe that I have to right to say that I practice Shamanism in the fact that I follow the basic principals that are found in common throughout most traditions:

The spirits can play important roles in human lives.
Shamans engage various processes and techniques to incite trance; such as: singing, dancing, meditating and drumming.
Animals play an important role, acting as omens and message-bearers, as well as representations of animal spirit guides.
The shaman's spirit leaves the body and enters into the supernatural world during certain tasks.
The shamans can treat illnesses or sickness; they are healers.*


Shamanistic practitioners work with the Spirit; healing^ illness at a Spiritual Level. They gain knowledge and insight from communication on various levels with Trees, Rocks, Ancestors, Animals. To a Shaman, all things have a consciousness and a purpose. Everything is alive.

In order to heal the illness, the Shaman must look at various things. Firstly, the Shaman will look into your spirit to see where the power is missing or perhaps it's misplaced. You may have fragments of your soul lost. You may have lost one of your Animal or Spirit Guides. It is then the job of the Shaman to retrieve those fragmens or missing Guides and return them to you so that you may heal; or put the misplaced energy back where it belongs.

Shamanic extraction is the removal of displaced energy, sometimes called intrusions. This is energy that does not belong in the body and may cause illness. How does this energy get displaced? Since the Spirit is able to move about freely, it is believed by a Shaman that the need to "take leave of the body in order to protect oneself from harm" is how this happens. For example, when you're angry at someone, and you pent up all that rage, the energy has to go somewhere, without proper expulsion of this energy, it builds up, and finds a place to take up "residence" such as in your stomach and could cause things like ulcers.



Soul Retrieval Because a portion of the soul is free to leave the body it will do so when dreaming, or it will leave the body to protect itself from potentially damaging situations be they emotional or physical. There are many reasons for soul loss: abuse, accidents, loss of a loved one. Sometimes soul fragments will come back on their own, but sometimes they will not. What are some of the symptoms of soul loss? Disassociation, Feeling like "you've not been the same since (event) happened", depression that just won't go away*.

Power Animal Retrieval we all have power animals that work within us. These are gifts from the Divine which are characteristics of these animals that help us on our lives' journeys. Often times due to injuries such as in the section pertaining to Soul Loss, we lose them. A Shaman can journey to retrieve them back. A power animal helps protect our spirit, keep us free from illnesses, give us self-esteem. Without them, we often feel "less than", deflated, not "quite ourselves".



Shamanic Journeying is a tool for spiritual growth. It also can be used for healing, obtaining information, and working through issues. When someone goes on a journey they are able to communicate on a spiritual level. They can go and visit guardian spirits, they can go and visit spirits of the land. A journeyer can use a journey to examine the health of their body or another's body. They can also discover things about the world.



Question: Can these things be done long distance?

Answer: Absolutely! Since the Shaman works on a Spiritual level, and journeys to other worlds, it is not necessary to be together when performing these tasks.



Question: What can I expect?
Answer: First you'll share some information with me, consider it a small intake interview (This can be done by phone or email): What you are feeling, what is going on, what you're concerned about.

Please note: due to ethical beliefs, I cannot do any shamanic work for any one under age of 16 without parental consent (please email me at info@begood2motherearth.com for the consent forms which you can then sign and email back or snail mail them to me).

 During the session, it is highly recommended we set up a time and you take the time to lie down and relax comfortably (Just like the Attunements for Reiki). A session will last about 30 - 60 minutes.

Then, I will do a shamanic journey to diagnose the problems. Lastly I will do what is needed, whether it be:

I see that many practioners are charging hundreds of dollars for their services. And although I know that they're providing a valuable service, I do not feel that it is fair when sometimes people need something badly and just cannot come up with the outrageous fees. If you truly feel you need shamanic services and cannot afford my set fees, please email me and we'll discuss it. After all, I'm here to help, not hinder the healing process.

^ I use the word healing as opposed to "curing". I do not claim to "cure" anything. Healing starts at a Spirtual level by returning ourselves to our original state of well-being and balance.

Tarot Services

Now offering tarot reading. I have had the pleasure of reading tarot cards for almost 19 years. Tarot can offer great guidance into situations you may be unsure of. The thing to remember about tarot is nothing is set in stone, you have control of your own situations, the cards simply point out things you may not be aware of, or truths you have not been willing to face.

There are many different lay outs for a reading, and everyone has a different style. There are also variations in the amount charged for these services from FREE online automated to hundreds of dollars. I think that when looking for a good tarot reader you should  be aware of these things:

 Ethics, Quality, Reputation; Reader's attention to You.

A good reader will not :

• fish around for personal information, they'll simply have your question, lay out the cards and present you with your reading. 
• tell you what decision to make : "I think you should do this" or "The cards definitely say you should do this"
• tell you that the cards are in control, You are in control at ALL times of your situations
• tell you "things are unclear, but for more money..." this is a common trap.
• give you a "guarantee". I don't believe in guarantees. How can you guarantee something that you have no control over? The only thing a good reader can guarantee is that they'll give you the best possible reading they can. End of story. 

What a reading will not do:

• Give a definite yes or no answer. It is not like a pendulum. It can show signs pointing to a more positive result or negative result but it won't say "YES" or "NO".
• make your decisions for you
• Tarot does not work in definite time. Oftentimes things in future can be "near future" within a few months or "distant future" years on down the road

Okay, so how does a long distance reading work?

Simple:

1. Pick the type of layout you want.
2. Email me with your question. I don't need to know your birth sign, day you were born, moon sign, none of that information, just your question, with as little background information as possible.
3. If the question isn't worded right, I will email you for further clarification.
4. I will do the layout, and send you a detailed report within 2 business days. (If you need it ASAP please put that in your email.)
5. If you have any questions after your reading, email me, it costs nothing and I will respond as promptly as possible. I will even email you after a time if I think you need it (depending on the subject of your question) for a follow up to see how you are doing if you want it.

Celtic Cross

11 cards. The most popular type of layout for a general question is the cross, also known as the Celtic Cross. It will look like an extended cross with a vertical line along one side.

Three Card Spread

This reading is a "quicker" one. Three cards are laid out, one represents past, one represents present and one represents future.

Four Seasons Spread

8 card layout, one card each representing the time of year (Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter). Spring representing ambition, time for "planting", Summer representing those ideas/actions blooming, Fall, reaping the rewards, and Winter, time for reflection.

Lifetime Spread

This uses the entire tarot deck and spans across your lifetime. Very detailed report.
